i have read the hunger games and it's AMAZING! one of the most enthralling books ever. and yeah, there is a ton of violence in it. some of it involves animals but how much i don't remember exactly. i am halfway through catching fire, the second in the series.

I have been so unimpressed by Essie lately. Either the formula was terrible, either the colors were deceiving. It's sad because I so used to love this brand. I still love tons of old shades but I'm not so inclined to pick new ones. I'm still pondering about Sew Psyched but I still don't know...

As for similar shades, yes. Zoya, Orly and OPI managed to release a perfect blue/green dupe and almost the whole Orly collection has a dupe (MAC, OPI, Zoya, China Glaze). Weird year for sure.

What a great dupe investigation. :) I only truly love the matte black and Sanguine but I already have a Orly flat matte black and I think Sanguine is nothing that can't be duped (there might be some Zoya or China Glaze that look like this already, right?). It's fr sure really pretty but I'll totally pass on this collection. Thank you for saving my money. ;)
