I randomly received a bottle of OPI's InStyle Red in the last week (which was ever so thrilling!! ), so I decided to try it out.  I'm not sure which OPI red this polish is, but I assume it's just a re-stickered core OPI color.  I could be wrong, though!

I think I'd describe this polish as a true bright red- it doesn't seem like it leans towards yellow or blue, so it's pretty neutral.  InStyle Red is a bit thin, but I got it decently opaque with a thin and then a thick coat of lacquer.  I do have three coats on in these pictures, only because I wanted to refresh it before tearing into a Thanksgiving meal.   Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the US, by the way!

Someday I'm going to show y'all a manicure that is really neat-looking, as in tidy.  That day is not today.  I can promise you that I did a fab job before I slapped on a third coat.   These pictures were taken under a GE Reveal bulb and are pretty color accurate.  We have the craziest fog all around us right now, so little chance for a full sunlight pic!

I think InStyle sent out 1500 bottles of this polish, so you might be able to get your hands on it through a friend or eBay.  Otherwise, I think you could probably find a color that's very close, if not a dupe, from OPI's regular line.  I really dig it, though.  It's a very cheerful red.   Thank you, InStyle!
