I picked up three of the Alice in Wonderland polishes this afternoon.  I didn't opt for Off With Her Red! since it was so warm.  (If you didn't catch the swatch, it's here.)

I know that the next three pictures are really similar, but Mad As A Hatter and Absolutely Alice are pretty neat.  They're worth three pictures.

I also found this super pretty OPI traincase at Trade Secret.  Doesn't it look like it has a face?  I see two eyes, a nose, a small mouth...

The traincase was marked US$48 with a red 75% off sticker.  I thought, "Twelve bucks?!  SCORE!!!"  Alas, the person behind the counter charged me $18 plus tax.  I went back to the store and nicely argued with her (75% of $48 is $36 and $48-$36=$12) but she stuck to her guns.  By golly, since the traincase rang up at 50% off- $24- so all she had to do was take off another 25%- $6.  Right? I left the store and called Trade Secret's customer service to see if they could explain this new math.  Unfortunately for the person behind the counter, he sided with me and told me she would refund my money.  I went back and waited for her to figure out the cash register.  She had to have someone else come over and show her how to correctly apply the discount.

The kicker?  She is the manager of the store.  I don't even have the words.  OK, maybe I do, but I won't rant any further.

I'll do some real live nail swatches once I'm able to chisel RBL Locavore off my nails.  I'm starting to wonder if peeling it off will be less damaging than using nail polish remover..!
