China Glaze Crackle Glaze vs OPI's Black Shatter

I've been working on this post for a week now and I really am tired of staring at and editing these pictures.  So how about I post 'em, eh? :P  I brought out all three new "crackle" polishes I have to see how they compared.  Well, more like I just wanted to play with them together!  The base color is RGB's Punch, which is used under all of the rest of the polishes.  I used Clarins 220 (which I'll cover in a different post) on my index finger, the middle finger is China Glaze's Crushed Candy, the ring is China Glaze's Cracked Concrete, and the pinkie is OPI's Black Shatter.  Bottle picture (with polishes in reverse order):

RGB Punch

I had a hankering to wear a color I usually don't wear, so I grabbed RGB's Punch.  It's described as "peachy pink," which it is.  But sometimes it's a straight up pastel peach crème to me.  You can check out a few bottle pictures that show the difference here.  Peach or pink peach, I like it and it's a classic color that I'm glad I have.

In the bottle, Punch looks lighter (and sometimes slightly more brown), so it definitely gets more vibrant on the nail.  The pictures above are skewing a little pink when compared to what I'm seeing in my woman cave (with artificial sunlight lamp :P); what I'm seeing now is even peachier than the pinkie finger below.

The brush was OK, but I wish it had been a bit better.  I also felt that Punch was a bit thick, consistency-wise, but I still had to do three coats before I was satisfied with the coverage.  And then I ended up with bubbles on some fingers.  (I used OPI's standard base and top coat.)  So why am I not passing on this one?  The wear has been great.  I've had one small chip in the 4-5 days I've been wearing it in the usual spot- on the side on my thumb- and I noticed one tiny chip on my other thumb's tip today.  These pictures are actually from today, after wearing Punch for a while.  Of course, the color's solid and I really like it as a base color for layering, too!  I have five thousand trillion pictures (only a slight exaggeration) of the layering to show you, so I'll have to sift through those photos before editing and putting them up.

Bottle pictures - RGB Cosmetics

I bought four polishes during RGB Cosmetics' birthday "buy one, get one free" sale- Dove ("light blue grey"), Minty ("mint green"), Punch ("peachy pink"), and Crimson ("blood red".)Bottle pictures...
