Honest Babes

I guess since these colors have almost sold out around me, I could actually post some pictures of them.   I'm not ambivalent about them- some are nice layering sheers and some are nicely opaque.  But they aren't grabbing me.  And I think the reasons for that are myriad.  They are on the more expensive end of drugstore polishes and they're not incredibly unique.  But they are sparkly, so as usual, if you like a color from this line, pick it up.  You could do worse in this sunny summertime (at least in my hemisphere.)

My other problem with these is that at the exact time I was buying them, a cashier was being murdered at the Target I shop at.  That morning, I had to choose between going to Target or CVS.  I had been avoiding Target all week, and that day was no exception.  I know that isn't a coincidence; it's just plain weird.  But will I ever be able to look at these polishes and not think of my reluctance to go to Target and the death of a cashier, who had just become a US citizen a few months before she was shot to death?  Admittedly I have a problem with associating things with inanimate objects to begin with, but I'm trying to get better about it.  OK, enough pondering- I know why y'all are here.
