OPI A Sparkle Yule Love

Can I just say how underwhelmed I am with Chanel's April, May and June polishes? April (my flawfree birth month) seemed like a washed out cranberry, May a pretty but dupable pink and June a nude peach that needed more peach in my opinion. The Glossimers were pretty, though. Repeat after me: no new lipglosses! Expensive ones at any rate. Loopholes are a wonderful thing...

This is A Sparkle Yule Love (HL C51) from the Deck Your Nails set. The set is an Ulta exclusive, along with the same full-sized polishes, for the holiday season this year. ASYL has a dark pink base with multicolored glitter- red, silver, fuchsia, green, blue... I don't own Excuse Moi! (or any other color) from the Muppet collection and even I could tell that this might be a dupe. EM was one of the few Muppet polishes that I was interested in, so I'm fine with this bizarre decision to rebottle an existing color or only tweak it slightly.

Do people like these cuts? Do they even care? Inquiring minds want to know.

Random Roundup

The scuttlebutt on the street is that the new OPI Ulta exclusives are Nicole's Gossip Girl collection polishes from last year.  That's entirely possible, since Nicole and OPI have shared shades before as far as I know.  (OPI's I Pink You're Adorable is similar to Nicole's Starbright Sparkles II, and OPI's Unripened from the Halloween collection last year was close to Nicole's Blues in the Night.)  You be the judge below:Pictures ahoy!

Moldy oldie: OPI All The Berry Best with China Glaze Mrs. Claus

Do you remember what you were doing in early December?  I don't, aside from working.  I did wear this polish combination, but I can't say I enjoyed it.  Other people complimented it, but I didn't really like the color combination.  Picky, picky... that's me!

Sephora by OPI's Spring 2010 collection

Sephora by OPI's Spring 2010 Modern Flowers collection is full of delicate, garden-inspired shades.  I know that sounds a little ad-like, but this collection does strike me as spring-y; this collex has both the green leaves and the pink, purple and orange flowers from a garden.Lots of descriptions, lots of pictures

OPI Pink Me I'm Good plus layering experiments

Ulta's Valentine's Day exclusive OPI, Pink Me I'm Good, did not thrill me.  In fact, I can't see myself using it ever again (unless it's for comparison purposes) and I just might have to give it away.  To see if it would be worth layering, I picked out a black, a red, a pink, plus a purple and blue from OPI's Spring/Summer 2010 Hong Kong collection. To see subpar pics...

OPI Pink Me I'm Good

OPI tends to give Ulta three exclusive colors for Valentines Day and for the winter holidays.  I heard that the Valentines Day exclusives were out, so of course I had to stop by an Ulta.  I found an exclusive named Pink Me I'm Good (SR B94.)  It's a dark hot pink jelly with golden glitter.  Here are some pictures in fading sunlight:Click me!

Suzi's been a busy gal... or has she?

OPI has manufactured a plethora of holiday exclusives for different stores. That's pretty normal. But their Ulta offerings are a little unusual this year, in that the minis and full-sized bottles are not the same. Though I suspect one mini might be a dupe of the full-size bottle, I'm getting ahead of myself here. Now! With added pictures! :-P
